At this website you can join a nation or union – online! Note that as a new student, you cannot become a member online until the entire admissions process is over. Instead, you can contact or visit the nation or union you wish to join. The nations’ member registration dates can be found under the individual nation pages. Click on the tabs "The Nations" and "The Student Unions" to find contact information to the different organizations. Welcome to the student life of Uppsala!

How to create an account and become a member online

Have you been admitted to Uppsala University and received your second admission notification? Great! Please note that you can only create an account once the entire admission process is complete, often with a delay of a few weeks afterward. This is because we have not yet received information about you as a new student.

You can register directly with the respective nation or union by visiting or contacting them. The registration schedules for the nations can be found on their individual pages.
